Why is this program important?

Organizations don’t transform, people do. And leaders are the main creators of culture through their behavior and attitudes. When leaders transform—by overcoming their subconscious fear-based tendencies of the ego—they unleash a whole new level of influence and sustainable impact that engages and inspires their teams, organizations, and yes… their families and relationships in general.

This work also will dramatically impact your relationship with yourself, improving your mental-emotional wellbeing, resilience, motivation and sense of meaning.

Emotional Intelligence (EQ), which is the ability to be aware of, understand, and manage our own emotions and behaviors, as well as those of others, is what makes the difference:

The importance of Self-Awareness

The first and more fundamental EQ skill is… Self-Awareness.

Did you know that 90% of people think they are self-aware, yet only 10% really are? 

We simply don’t know what we don’t know!
Yet most of us go around living and leading not realizing this paradox, bling to the many ways in which we are limiting our own wellbeing, impact, and potential as humans and leaders.

EQ is one of the main focuses of this program, although is our prorietary transformational way.

 

What will I take from the program?

Each program is a bit different, because each person is different. You bring with yourself a wealth of knowledge, experience, qualities and pitfalls, strengths and weaknesses, and preferences.  
However, to more or less extent, these are some of the benefits participants have experienced (which you can witness in our testimonial videos above).

 

Here are some of the things you could expect:

  • Get to know yourself better, what drives you and what limits you, qualities and pitfalls, and mental strategies (both self-empowering and self-limiting).
  • Understand the different inner dynamics (parental and societal conditioning from your past) and neurological levels that inform and affect your emotions, reactions, decisions, and actions.
  • Become more aware of how those inner dynamics and actions are affecting your well-being, relationships, and your organizational culture and results.
  • Discover the stage of psychological development you are at in your life, and what that means for your developmental priorities, values, and decisions, both as a person and a leader.
  • Understand what drives people and how to empower them in their personal evolution journey.
  • Expand your emotional intelligence, such as your self-awareness and the ability to self-regulate your emotional states.
  • Expand your social intelligence, such as your communication and influence abilities.

What exactly will you experience depends on you: Where you are, what you need, what you are willing to explore, and how deep you are willing to go. 

What does the program include?

Though the program may vary based on your needs and progression, the program shall generally encompass the following:

  • Welcome gift (box sent to your address) containing, among other things, Juan Campoo’s Amazon best-selling book ‘The Mind Canvas: A Revolutionary Approach to Personal Mastery’ 
  • Personal/Leader Evolution Self-Assessment
  • Mind Resourcefulness Self-Assessment (to assess your mental-enmotional strengths & opportunities) 
  • A thorough, world-renowned 360 Leadership Development Assessment
  • Startegy (A to B) Consultation: to explore your current and desired situation
  • 10 Weekly meetings, usually 3 times per month, 60-90 minutes a piece, performed via online video-conference
  • Inter-session assignments to consolidate the work done during coaching
  • Communication via email or Whatsapp, to support you, celebrate, or clarify things when needed
  • Online learning content/resources to complement the coaching and support your evolution
  • Free access (for the duration of the program) to the online community platform
  • A second 360 Leadership Development Assessment to assess your progress and the next steps in your evolution

 

How long is the program?

Based on the above-mentioned frequency, your coaching journey could normally last 3 months. However, the nature of the actions you decide to take after each session to consolidate the coaching work might require more time between sessions. Also, busy agendas might require longer time between sessions. This is why the program can last longer. 

In any case, the duration program will not exceed 6 months. This is enough time to also account for any personal or professional situations that may occur during the program.  

Any sessions not taken within those 6 months will be considered as performed.

How is this program different from other programs?

While most trainings and coaching mostly focus on the Outer Impact (doing different things to get different results, a.k.a. transactional work), this program focuses mostly on the Inner Work: Exploring, discovering, and working on the (subconscious) inner dynamics that are keeping you from your potential as a person and as a leader and, with it, your potential for conscious impact that influences your team’s and organization’s culture and results (transformational work).

Additionally, being this a coaching program means that it is 100% focused on youyour speed, needs and preferences. This is part of how this program ‘accelerates’ your inner development.  

Who is this program for? Is it for me?

These are some of things previous participants have had in common when they came into the program:

You are manager, leader, or entrepreneur who leads teams.

You have done great in your career, achieved great success, and come far in life. But you sense somehow that the old mindset and skills that have brought you here are not enough to deal with the complexity of today’s challenges, let alone build the future you envision. They may even be creating unnecessary problems and conflicts, and pushing people away.

You know you are not the same person you once were, yet your old beliefs and definitions of success, work, and happiness influence your current life, not having the same impact but creating more trouble than you’d like, while affecting your well-being, and the well-being of everyone you touch.

You are ticking all the “right” boxes… just not the right ones for you (and the people you serve).

You are doing everything “right”… but it is not you who is defining what “right” means.

How to make sure the program works?

We will do everything in our power to help you in your personal evolution. However, it is important that you understand that only you are the owner of the process and the results you get. It is you who is responsible to have the best possible attitude and sticking to your commitments. It is only then that coaching really works.

Next are the ground rules that will ensure you get the most out of the program.

What you can expect from us

  • We will keep a professional, open, trustworthy, and honest relationship that serves your interests.
  • We shall offer the Coaching to the best of our ability, based on the information provided by you.
  • We will make clear agreements with you and honor them.
  • We’ll give you the assistance, support, and guidance needed for you to experience change.
  • We will interrupt you and challenge any self-deception that may impair your progress toward meeting your goals and dreams.
  • We will share all of our experience, knowledge, and skills as needed or required.
  • We will not lie. We will be completely honest with you, always.
  • Total commitment on your way to achieving your goals.
  • We will not give information or advice we know or suspect are misleading or likely to endanger your physical, mental, or emotional integrity.
  • We will awaken positive and resourceful states, rather than give advice. One’s advice can be useless or even dangerous to another.
  • We will not exploit any aspect of our relationship for our personal, professional, or monetary benefit.
  • We will be alert for any indication that you’re no longer benefiting from the coaching relationship.
  • If we thought you could be better served by another coach or professional, we will encourage you to make that decision.
  • In all we do, we’ll try to reflect the following values: integrity, care, honesty, professionalism, respect, courtesy, and empathy.
  • We will do our best to show the highest standards of service and adhere to any agreement we reach together.
  • If we make a mistake, we will find the best and fastest way to rectify it to your satisfaction.
  • We stand by the quality and ethical Standards of the International Coaching Community (ICC).

 

What we expect from you
  • To be on time for your appointments.
  • Prepare for the coaching sessions.
  • Be honest to us and to yourself.
  • Accept being challenged if we feel you’re not being sincere or if you are limiting/cheating yourself.
  • Be willing to receive feedback, even if it is hard.
  • Perform the tasks and assignments agreed upon in a timely manner.
  • Be willing to work in the areas of your life that are necessary and to take into account the perspectives and concepts that we propose.
  • To work closely and openly with us.
  • To trust us and to trust the process, allowing time for it to do its work on you.
  • Be willing to accept new ways of doing things and that sometimes you have to complete tasks that you will not feel necessarily comfortable with, but for which you will have our support.
  • To honor your financial obligations with us.
  • To give us timely feedback if things are not going the right way, allowing the program and the coach to evolve with and for you.
  • To share your progress and achievements with others in your network (spread the love), so that others also benefit from your learning journey and become inspired to start their own journey.
Do I have to take the 360 assessment?

No. We have a similar self-assessment that is enough to do some great work together. 

However, we highly (and we really mean it) recommend you to take the 360. Not only does it measure things that the self-assessment does not measure (such as key leadership skills that can make or break your leadership), it also allows you to get invaluable (anonymous) feedback from your stakeholders that will help you stop living and leading unconscious of your strengths and blind-spots. 

More importantly, we are not aware of our shadows (the unconscious repressed side of us that drives those unhealthy, counter-productive behaviors and reactions), and this assessment helps you explore those (hence, transformation).

The Leadership Development Report is a world-renowned, serious tool used by leaders and organizations of all sizes, all around the world. It helps you make the invisible… visible, helping you acknowledge and overcome your biggest blind spots that limit your (and your organization’s) potential. 

The wealth of information it provides helps you develop at different depths and levels: Behavior, Skills, Values, Beliefs, Principles, and Purpose.

Note: You will need the support and guidance of your coach to interpret your report. We have also created online educational content to enhance your understanding and application.

Where do the sessions take place?

This is an international program, with most participants joining from all over the world, so it is usually done online.

This goes very well with leaders’ busy agendas, allowing for more flexibility when meeting your coach as well as saving time.

For those living in the Netherlands, coaching can be done in one of our locations in the area known as Het Gooi, for an additional fee of EUR 450, excl VAT.

Is what happens in the sessions confidential?

We shall not use or disclose, directly or indirectly, any Confidential Information during the period in which we are offering coaching services to you and indefinitely thereafter.

The above will not be deemed to prohibit any disclosure that is either agreed in writing by you, or required by law or court order, provided that we have not intentionally taken actions to trigger such required disclosure and, so long as not prohibited by any applicable law or regulation, thyou are given reasonable prior notice and an opportunity to contest or minimize such disclosure.

You agrees to never disclose, copy or profit from any information, images, tools, ideas and documents, provided by Inner Acceleration, either directly or indirectly. Such information shall only be used by you for your personal development.

Other considerations

When joining the program, you acknowledge, and agree to the following :

  • The Coaching is designed to help mentally and physically healthy people. Any person with a serious mental or physical issue should seek the advice of a doctor or psychiatrist.
  • This type of Coaching is not therapy – to reiterate the previous point, you should seek the advice of a doctor or psychiatrist if your condition dictates.
  • The Coach may refer you to other professionals if, in the Coach’s best judgment, it will be beneficial toward your success and growth.
  • Success is heavily dependent on you committing to and following the program laid out by the coach. Coaching services like those contemplated in this Agreement are only effective if you are motivated and committed. You benefit best from an honest relationship with the Coach. Cooperation and an open mind are paramount to your success.
  • The Coach’s expertise is limited to the nature of the Coaching. The Coach is not qualified to give you any business, or financial advice.
  • Your relationship with the Coach is a professional one, beyond that of a friendship, and the nature of the relationship should be maintained throughout the Coaching.
  • If any third party should make payments to the Coach on your behalf, the Coach shall still act with only your best interest in mind. The party making said payments shall have no bearing on the judgment of the Coach in performing services and the Coach shall be obligated to nobody except for you.
  • Should you choose to alter or cease any treatments, therapy, or medication, you should do so solely at the advice of the professional administering such treatments, therapy, or medication. Coaching is not designed to act as a replacement for such things.
  • The Coach may elect to record Coaching sessions and use parts for marketing purposes, with your informed consent.
What if its not working for me?

That is something we, of course, would like to avoid. And it has only happened once or twice.
But in those those rare cases, both you and your Coach may terminate the program with written notice to the other party under the following conditions:

  • The Coach can terminate it if you are not fulfilling what is expected from you as a client (see “Starting Off Strong: Useful Information” in the next question).
  • You can terminate it if the Coach is not fulfilling what is expected from him/her as a Coach (see “Starting Off Strong: Useful Information” in the next question).

In any of those cases, there will be no compensation for the remaining part of the program, since any client change/result depend on both coach and client fully doing their parts and allowing the program to evolve. 

The only cases where such compensation can take place are if:

  1. There is a clear lack of Client/Coach fit which affects the program and can’t improve despite clear efforts done by both parties.
  2. If the Coach thinks the Client is not getting significant progress, despite fulfilling all Client responsibilities and doing everything in the client’s power to get changes and results. 

In these two cases, you and the Coach can come to a mutual agreement for the reimbursement of the prorated amount of the program that hasn’t been performed.

The less fun part (liability, termination, and more)

Not the most fun part of a collaboration… We know. But it is still important.

Release of liability

We are very serious about our responsibilities. We will always act in your (and your organisation’s) best interest. You can rely on that.
We like to take responsibility, but there are limits. In order to guarantee our sustainability, we have inserted this section about liability just a little bit more business-like.

You release, waive, discharge and covenant not to take any form of legal action against Inner Acceleration or any of its coaches, in connection with any cause of action stemming from the coaching services, should such an event occur during or after said coaching services as a direct or indirect cause of either the Coach or any other third party’s actions. This limitation does not release the specific Coach from any cause of action stemming from the Coach’s negligence or intentional tort.

 

Intellectual Property

Inner Acceleration owns all rights to the work produced and that is marked as proprietary, including course materials, models, assessments, and reports.

You may use the provided materials only for your own benefit. Sharing or distributing these materials to third parties is prohibited without Inner Acceleration’s consent.

We reserve the right to use the general knowledge gained from the project, provided no confidential information is disclosed.

The above-mentioned does not apply to content that we use through a license structure. The intellectual property as described by the holders on their website applies.

Applicable Law

All agreements by Inner Acceleration are governed by Dutch law.

In the unlikely event of a conflict, all disputes, including those only regarded as such by one of the parties, arising in connection with an agreement to which the present terms & conditions apply in whole or in part, or in connection with other Agreements that are a consequence of such an Agreement, will be settled by the competent court in the district where Inner Acceleration is established, unless a mandatory legal provision precludes this or agreed otherwise.
